Leisure Services is a unique department of the City of Union City.

The Etris Community Center houses Leisure Services and is the headquarters for senior activities. The Center currently receives seniors from College Park, Red Oak, Jonesboro, Palmetto, Fairburn, and even Coweta County! No senior is turned down to participate in activities.

The facility may be rented for social and/or community-oriented non-profit activities, but it may not used for retail/commercial activities by for-profit organizations unless pre-approved by the City. All requests for retail/commercial use must be made to the City Administrator who then seeks approval from the Mayor and Council at the next regular meeting prior to the event.

Any community-oriented activity that is facilitated by the Union City government and will benefit the citizens of Union City will be waived any rental fees and deposit requirements. Staff must make a request stating the purpose and intent of the activity to the City Administrator.
