Brian K. Jones was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1978. He is a 1996 graduate of Westlake High School, holds a B.A. in Business Management from Morehouse College and an M.B.A from Keller School of Management at DeVry. Councilman Jones has six years experience in government as an employee of the Fulton County Government.

Councilman Jones has lived in Union City since 2002 and served as the President of the Shannon Villas Condominium Association Inc. for three years. He is a member of the 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta, the National Black M.B.A. Association, Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity and Cascade United Methodist Church.

Councilman Jones believes in supporting the needs of the seniors, youth activities and economic development.
