Save the Date! 2020 State of the City Address
Save the date! The 2020 State of the City Address is on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Benjamin Banneker High School. Mayor Vince Williams' Address, titled "Vision 20/20: The Future is Clear," offers a wonderful opportunity for residents, local businesses, and community organizations to learn about the City's accomplishments from 2019 and key initiatives for 2020. You do not want to miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the progression of Union City! Be sure to mark your calendars for March 17, 2020! The event will be held in the auditorium of Benjamin Banneker High School, located at 6015 Feldwood Road, College Park, GA 30349 at 7:00 PM.
“Providing an enhanced quality of life and a vibrant and safe community cannot be accomplished without our residents and businesses,” said Mayor Williams. “Their support of our efforts is invaluable, and the Council and I ask for continued assistance as we move forward in 2020.”
Mayor Williams’ Address will highlight areas to improve quality of life for the City including enhanced public safety initiatives; increased awareness of arts and culture in the community; interactive communication channels between residents and City administration; strengthened relationships with community partners and residents; and continued focus toward City green space, parks and public property improvements.
