According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there are 612 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Fulton County as of 11:28 a.m., Thursday, April 2. A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.
Today’s significant increase in cases is in part due to additional laboratories reporting to DPH, and also improvements in electronic reporting from other laboratories. Patient information is often incomplete and DPH works to complete the records, so data will change over time.
Residents are strongly encouraged to 'Shelter in Place' as outlined by local, county and state orders.
