The City of Union City is committed to the safety and well-being of our residents, businesses, staff members and visitors.  Essential to this commitment is open communication with our community about COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  Critical steps are necessary in following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control.  Careful planning is being used to determine the measures we are taking regarding the adjustments to our operations including event cancellations, and closings.  Health and safety remain our highest priority.

We are working with our partners at the county, state, and federal levels to monitor and understand the risks associated with the virus as well as the impacts it poses for communities.

NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES CORONAVIRUS BRIEFING 

The National League of Cities held a briefing at its annual Congressional City Conference. Speakers talked about local government leadership priorities and coordination between cities and the federal government in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

AeroATL Model Mile Meeting April 23

Aerotropolis Atlanta (AeroATL) is hosting a Model Mile Virtual Public Meeting for Union City residents and businesses on Thursday, April 23, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. to discuss plans to create a one-mile trail that can serve as a connection to existing sidewalks, future recreation areas, and the creation of a larger trail network for the community. 

 Join the discussion online or by phone (404-397-1516, access code 615 834 424) to learn more about the project and ask questions.

Additionally, residents and businesses are welcome to share input on Union City's AeroATL Model Mile trail by clicking here to view an interactive mapping tool and take an online survey.
