The City of Union City is committed to the safety and well-being of our residents, businesses, staff members and visitors.  Essential to this commitment is open communication with our community about COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  Critical steps are necessary in following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control.  Careful planning is being used to determine the measures we are taking regarding the adjustments to our operations including event cancellations, and closings.  Health and safety remain our highest priority.

We are working with our partners at the county, state, and federal levels to monitor and understand the risks associated with the virus as well as the impacts it poses for communities.

Important Message Regarding Water Service Interruption

Post Date:05/22/2020 4:06 PM

UC Water Interruption Extension

We understand just how challenging the coronavirus pandemic has been and remain committed to supporting our customers.  It is critical for residents and businesses to have access to water as we seek to prevent and reduce the risks of COVID-19 or other health threats. To provide assistance, water disconnections for non-payment are suspended through Monday, July 20. Extending this time allows customers experiencing financial hardship extra time to make payments.

Our team members are available and stand ready to assist our customers with payment plan requests to avoid the buildup of large balances or future disconnection.  Please do not hesitate to call on us at (770) 964-2288 if needed.  The health and safety of our citizens remain a top priority. We are all in this together.
