The Human Resources Department is responsible for administering the City's Personnel Management System as established by the Mayor and Council, in order to provide a fair, equitable, and productive work environment for all City employees.
Human Resources plans, develops, implements and administers centralized human resource programs and support to all City departments. Our goal is to provide superior services in the areas of talent management, performance management, training & professional development, classification/compensation, employee benefits, employee engagement, employee awards & incentives, retirement/pension programs, short-term & long-term disability, workers' compensation, risk management, employee wellness & legal compliance.
