Union City’s Parks and Recreation Department now offers a Jewelry Making, Jewelry Repairs, and Beading class taught by Ms. Cherokee Hill. In this class, residents can expect to create and/or repair their own beautiful jewelry while learning about the therapeutic benefits behind the craft. Enjoy fellowship with other residents and create new relationships while listening to soothing music in a calm, peaceful, Cherokee Indian environment. Mrs. Hill designs custom jewelry and is a master Beader dealing with semi-precious and healing stones. She can assist and also hand craft custom jewelry for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. This is the perfect opportunity to create that perfect personal design to last a lifetime. There is no charge to participate, but you will need to purchase your own supplies from Mrs. Hill.
The class meets every Wednesday at 1pm at the Etris Community Center 5285 Lakeside Drive, Union City, Georgia 30291.
This class is for all ages!
